The design review covers the interfaces that control positioning, fastening, sealing, user contact and service access.
During DFM and mold development, particular attention is given to accurate acoustic-path and sensor positioning, smooth, consistent internal flow channels, and reliable sealing and protected electronic interfaces. Material options include PBT, PPS, PA, PC/ABS and other engineering resins selected for sealing, electronics protection and fluid compatibility. Final resin selection is confirmed against the customer’s functional, appearance, compliance and cost requirements.
