During DFM and mold development, particular attention is given to repeatable multi-part stack-up and alignment, coordinated tolerances across mating components, and efficient assembly through clips, bosses and locating datums. Material options include ABS, PC/ABS, PC, PA, POM, PMMA and other engineering resins selected for function and appearance. Final resin selection is confirmed against the customer’s functional, appearance, compliance and cost requirements.
